Your BFBC:2 Shortcut on the desktop...  With windows 7 you will have to create a new one by going to C:\Program Files or Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield Bad Company 2\BFBC2Updater.exe

Right click it and go to properties.

Click on the Shortcut tab if not already there.

Under Target there will be a box where some text is and you can insert more.

At the end of "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield Bad Company 2\BFBC2Updater.exe" add a space after the final quotation mark and put +fullproc

Should look like

"C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield Bad Company 2\BFBC2Updater.exe" +fullproc

This will force the use of all processors

That's interesting. But I bought my game via Steam and the shortcut looks nothing like that path. Any ideas on how can I set it to use a 4 cpu count on the steam version?

Regards

How does your Game install (other then steam)? There has to be a game path. Are you using steam to start the game?

The way to do it through Steam (took me a second to figure this out too) is to right-click the game in your Steam game library, click "Properties", then under the General tab click "Set Launch Options...", and then just type in "+fullproc" and press OK.

It's basically the shortcut without the target path... So anything you put in the launch options is what you would normally put in a shortcut after the target path... I believe... At least it worked for me

Hope this helps
